It seems that the more the information age advances, the more we tend to overcomplicate things. Today I got a question from a good friend of mine who stumbled upon a video of a coach talking about how the king of leg exercises in bodybuilding, the squat, is an exercise that only works the lower back and that it should not be performed as a result. ?Needless to say, my friend was confused, as was I.

Thus, I decided to put my detective/engineering hat on, take a look at the video and see what conclusion I would come up with based on the facts.

When you are serious about body building, having a gallery of pictures to show off your physique can be a great way to let the world know about your passion. When you have a body building gallery, you will get exposure in the fitness world as well as in the world in general.





There are many ways that you can display a gallery of body building pictures. To begin with, you’ll need to get the pictures together. Have a professional photographer take your picture in a variety of poses wearing a variety of outfits. You’ll want to be tanned and oiled up just a bit.

Parece ser que más éxitos en la información de la edad, cuanto más nos tienden a complicar las cosas. ¿Cuántas veces han oído de gurú culturista desinformado que deba dejar de comer a todo tipo de grasa a las células de grasa de "hambre" y perder grasa. La respuesta es, lamentablemente, demasiadas veces.

Tracking Your Bodybuilding Progress Properly

A big mistake that a lot of bodybuilders make is to track their bodybuilding progress only via the use of a scale.? A scale can only tell you how much weight you have gained or lost but it can never tell you how much of it is fat and how much of it is muscle.? Thus, a simple solution to this problem is to have bi-weekly weight-ins coupled with caliper readings.?

Skin fold measurements that are properly executed will give you a very good approximation of what your body fat percentage is so that in that manner you can calculate your lean mass and your fat mass.??By calculating?those values on the days that you weight yourself? then you will be able to know whether you are going up in muscle and/or losing fat.?

In order to get the most accurate measurements try to make sure that your body composition day (as I call it) is on the same day and at the same time of the day all the time.? In this manner, you keep most things constant and you get the most accurate results.

In addition to weighing yourself and getting caliper readings, I also recommend taking digital pictures on this same day so that you can see visually how you are changing.? In that way, you can address symmetry and unbalance issues.

I often get asked questions like: "What is a good bodybuilding workout routine to burn the extra fat on my chest?" or "What ab routine can I do to get my six pack to show?".

However, one thing that needs to be understood is that no workout routine will burn off the fat for you. Burning off the fat only happens when the right bodybuilding diet is being followed. Training a specific muscle builds it up creating the desired shape that you are looking for. ?But in order to burn fat, you need to have the right diet. ?If the nutrition is inadequate, your fat will stay right where it is. And if your nutrition is horrible, the fat stores may actually increase.
